Augmented Reality covers all US cities.
Augmented Reality is a great application that enables you to visualize Points of Interest (POI) located in your nearby environment in the US, thanks to a unique augmented reality technology using the iPhone camera.
POI databases include restaurants, WiFi hotspots, subway stations (New York Subway, Washington Metro, Chicago L Rapid Transit), etc. Over 100000 POI are already included in this application. Elements located at a distance less than 1km (0,621miles) only will be displayed on the screen.

- Vertical position: 360-degree view of all POI nearby your location, updated in real time as you walk in the streets.
- Horizontal position: List of all nearest POI. When a POI is selected, a blue arrow (compass) is displayed to show the direction and the distance to that POI.
- The application is fully compatible with Google Maps. It is possible to locate the nearest POI from your position on Google Maps within the application.
IMPORTANT: The POI databases will be installed during the first launch (30 seconds). The application will be much more faster to load after this installation (10 seconds).

I purchased this app out of faith for these developers knowing full well there was no poi support for my country (Canada) but from what Ive seen of this app, I know I can expect great things. If your lucky enough to live in one of the working areas, I strongly reccomend buying this app. At the very least you can see it as an investment in Augmentation technology.
this app froze and crashed my phone. i deleted it almost right away. beware, i think this app is spam.
Had to set it the locality distance to maximum to even get it to show something... and it found 1 thing... and took 10 minutes to load and find it. I would never use this app just based on loading time alone. Waste of money until they fix both loading time and more POIs.
Really, I hate this app.
Took forever for POIs to load. the user interface is horrible and most of the arrows displaying the direction to an object had the text upsidedown. Update I just installed didnt solve anything. This app blows.
