I purchased this app out of faith for these developers knowing full well there was no poi support for my country (Canada) but from what Ive seen of this app, I know I can expect great things. If your lucky enough to live in one of the working areas, I strongly reccomend buying this app. At the very least you can see it as an investment in Augmentation technology.

this app froze and crashed my phone. i deleted it almost right away. beware, i think this app is spam.

Had to set it the locality distance to maximum to even get it to show something... and it found 1 thing... and took 10 minutes to load and find it. I would never use this app just based on loading time alone. Waste of money until they fix both loading time and more POIs.

Really, I hate this app.

Took forever for POIs to load. the user interface is horrible and most of the arrows displaying the direction to an object had the text upsidedown. Update I just installed didnt solve anything. This app blows.

The app is slow to load, the distances are off, POIs are off, always loading something when you go back to the main screen. Not worth the $0.99 I paid for it.

A refund should be in order for all who were tricked into buying this app. It always crashes or is stays on the activating screen forever. I thought this app was like Layars but I was sadly mistaken. If you have google maps then you already have Bionic Eye. It showed me like 3 restaurants in the area and there are much more.

Awesome idea, just needs time to improve. More points of interest would be great. Very cool and handy app

I installed the 1.1 update, which actually made the app worse on my 3GS. Now, it will not get past activating. It just sits there thinking indefinitely until I give up and close the app.

Even after the update this app is still total garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!

I want a refund. The above negative comments are indeed correct: this app is nothing but buggy. That would be fine were the app free, but its not. The most insulting part, however, is that this app is a bait and switch. The user is charged, sans warning, for additional content. Meaning, if you want to to see locations and points of interest you are charged. And notified AFTER the fact. Terrible, dishonest application.

so its got its good and bad sides. it is awesome to see the signs floating in midair like that and arrows pointing the way. that said, it takes almost a minute to load (I counted), crashes every now and again, and is often proving buggy with locations (Im in NYC) -- its pointed out locations that didnt exist several times now. lots of potential, but if it doesnt improve fast its destined for the wastebin.

This is an excellent start for a really exciting capability. I can hardly wait for gas stations to be added!

The app in its current iteration is essentially non-functional for me.

Check Japanese Sekai Camera, its better than Bionic Eye, but Bionic eye works perfectly in NYC. You got to live and try in New York City, sorry guys, you are missing, hahahahaha!

Id love to review the app but it just constanly loads and has never once worked. Bye bye dollar :(

I cant say its good until it gets a better update. Not worth my Dollier needs better stuff and better reading and loading

Seriously, I need a refund. The app is very slow to start. Crashed a few times on my 3GS. It needs a lot of work before I change my mind and start using it again. Just stay away people.

Neat idea but poorly implemented. Needs work. Lots of work.
